Svagati - Dyer
Svagati
Description
An intimate, chef-driven Italian bistro that feels like a local secret: attentive service and personal attention from the owner, a focused pasta-and-seafood menu, a thoughtful wine list and inventive after-dinner drinks. Homemade desserts draw praise and the kitchen can tailor dishes for events. Diners call it upscale yet cozy — a great stop for couples, small celebrations, or road-trip detours. A few patrons note occasional inconsistencies: cold bread, limited protein options for pastas, and variable sauce quality.

It was Svagos. I haven't been to Svagattis yet, but I plan to visit very soon! Kudos to the owner for being so involved!
Great service, excellent food. Very enjoyed our stop at Svagos on the way back from Indiana. The food is first class Italian cuisine and the wine list is quite free. The coffee with a lateral shot of Pistaccio alcohol was a new experience and definitely some value recovery. Looks like we found a new favorite place to stop in the area.
Today fought with my husband for the first time, had a very nice time. We went a little early, so we were the only people in the dining room until we were ready to go. We had the Calamari, which was okay, nothing special, but the sauce she had with him was really good. I ordered pasta that had mussels and a Gorgonzola cream sauce, my husband had spinach ravioli with a mango sauce, and both were delicious. Then we had a canoli for dessert that was excellent. The chief/owner came and spoke to us twice, once imagined and help us choose our orders, and then again to see how we liked everything. He was very friendly and helpful. We'll be definitley back.
What a wonderful little spot! The service was exceptional, and the owner came over to chat with us and helped us select a fantastic meal. I absolutely loved it!
