Contribute FeedbackThe Milepost Tavern offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, making it a cherished local spot for diners. Guests rave about the attentive staff and the delightful culinary offerings, from perfectly cooked French pommes to fresh seafood and hearty steak dishes. While the menu may not boast innovative options, the consistent quality and generous portions keep patrons returning. The absence of outdoor dining is noted, yet the bar's charm and the bartender's warmth create a memorable experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant's recent closure leaves a palpable void in the community, where fond memories and cherished meals will be missed.
Our long-term local favorite hot, friendly restaurant and tavern has closed. we will miss all who have worked there and wish them well.
Great old space. michelle is a wonderful bartender. (Sonnays)Not unusual and that's perfect. Not pretty, not chic, authentic and excellent. one of the best meals I had in one. go on, sit on the bar, they will enjoy it. nothing to see from outside.
The atmosphere is great, a real grace feeling. the bartender is very attentive and friendly. the French pommes were perfect, beautiful and hot, delicious. the cooler shwiebe was excellent, I would have eaten a soup bowl full of it. the main rib was made right, but was hard to cut a real choir. it was also missing taste. neither did they serve a horse sauce with him. Maybe it helped.
Had takeout, roasted seafood very good, but in average over price. in today's environment, I don't care to pay a little more.
Cool little spot we found between hockey games. The bartender was fantastic! Didn't have time to try the food.
