I stayed at the hotel for four nights and dined at the restaurant for two of those evenings. I also had breakfast there four times. Each meal was excellent, well-prepared, and offered a great selection on the menu, with generous portions. View all feedback. Food was good, but not outstanding. Service was also good. Wine was expensive, but that is nothing unusual for a hotel restaurant. I had the blade of beef very nice; my partner had the beef and ale pie which he said was very good. Prices were reasonable under £20.00 each for a main course. No other food ordered.
