Occasionally, I would... read more I have been a regular at Spags for years, and before going vegan, I always ordered either the salmon fettuccini or the vegetable lasagne. Occasionally, I would try the beetroot ravioli, which was also marked as vegan and delicious. However, on my recent visit after making the switch to veganism, I was disappointed to find that the beetroot ravioli was no longer on the menu. The pasta dishes now seem quite basic, with options like arrabiata or ortolana, which is essentially just another tomato sauce with peppers and onions. I requested extra chili on my dish and they were very generous with it, creating a flavorful meal. However, I would have preferred something more unique and different from what I could make at home. Despite this, I will continue to dine at Spags as it always guarantees a satisfying meal. I hope that in the future they will consider adding some more exciting options to their pasta dishes.
