The personal was masked and I too. there was a big hanging parter between us and play music. it was hard to hear and hear. I've never been there and had many questions. (I am also gluten-free the personal was almost impatient to the point of rest and no, there were no people behind me, only me. so, not welcome or helpful. a regular bowl with 3 protein S portion. they count sweet potato as protein. I'm pretty sure the little sweet potato cubes they've served me were raw. to be honest, the best I can say was that I ate most of the quinoa bullets they did to me and after that I was no longer hungry. Oh, and it was $13.
Although zenfish has only one vegan protein option (tofu), they have several basic options and many nice to add their bowl, salat or sushirito. most sauces are vegan. the aolis are the only ones that are not. the portion sizes are large, so they always remain full. the personal is super friendly and is very aware of the ingredients used. eating is always fresh and they even use locally grown vegetables where they can. some of the drinks they serve are also produced locally.
The nachos are the best! honestly, this place is great. the hotel is located in a complex, the parking is easy. they can order online or come in. they have their own poke bowl. they come in two sizes and have different ingredients. the personal is friendly and makes it a pleasant experience.
Was super excited there was a poke bowl place close to the place i just started working at... Decided to go after work just to be pretty disappointed. Walked in and got a regular bowl, my fiance got a large. I was really excited to see that they bowlscame with so many portions of protein as I dont prefer most of the veggies poke places have. The staff were pretty unpleasant,to say the least. The woman who made my bowl was pretty light on portions which I get as i work in food service and knowshortages and prices on everything is going up. However it was REALLY light. The man who made my fiances was much moreunpleasant, and handled her food aggressively. Throwing ingredients in the bowl carelessly. Just not a good thing to watch. Igot to the end of the line, asked for 2 extra sauces for each, which we were only given one. Thats okay. 33 dollars for poke ispretty reasonable, just not for the portions at this particular place. Everyone's tastes are different but I really didnt likethese bowls. Ponzu sauce wasnt really ponzu... More teriyaki flavored. Sriracha aioli was a bit off. My fiances bowl was piledhigh will pickled onion, but we only counted 4 edamame in the whole bowl. Seemed like we got the same amount of meat too, evenwhen I payed for her to have the large. Nothing tasted super fresh like it's advertised. We ate the rice out of them, threw therest away, drove home and cooked dinner instead. I say save your money and go to briar creek and get some good poke!
We look forward to eating at Zenfish every time we visit the Durham area from out of state! The ingredients are fresh, food is delicious, and the service is always top notch friendly. My kids love eating here too which is a huge plus for a travelingfamily on the go. Highly recommend!
