On my way to RDU, I decided to stop by Twisted Noodles to satisfy my craving for Thai food. It was around 2 PM on a Friday, and the restaurant was empty. I was promptly seated and... View all feedback.
What Ken C doesn't like about Twisted Noodles:
I regrettably have to say that my second visit was a disappointment. I ordered the pad see ew and the curry noodles, and unfortunately, both dishes were very subpar. They were far too... View all feedback.
I ordered the seafood soup with noodles and added extra vegetables. It was the most delicious seafood soup I've had in years! The ambiance was lovely, and the service was excellent. P.S. Don't forget to try it with the hot sauce!
I had a fantastic experience with their lunch specials, all priced under $10. I ordered the lunch combo, which included shrimp fried rice, four chicken wings, and a bowl of salad. The shrimp fried rice was impressive—no artificial flavors, and the portion was generous. I wasn't expecting much from the wings, but they turned out to be quite delicious, even without dipping sauce. The quality of the wings was definitely on par with specialty wing places like Heavenly Buffalos. The salad, however, had a bit too much dressing for my taste, but overall, it was a very satisfying meal. If you're looking for a great lunch option under $10 with good portions and quality, this is definitely the spot to check out.
The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and the service was excellent too! While it may not always appear crowded, they have a high volume of takeout orders. I mostly visited for early lunch, so that might explain it.
Twisted noodle is one of my all-time favorite restaurants and it has never disappointed. Of course Thai food is often completely amazingly yummy and nutritious and healthy,. In any case I love the twisted noodle I love you I love you I love you!!
The red curry was really good, the pad Thai was a bit lacking in flavor. We got the tofu and squash appetizer, I expected it to be more than just literally fried tofu and squash, but it was also fine. The service was good, we were the only ones there (early weekday evening) so I can't speak to how it is when it's busy
