The food here is simply excellent. They serve the best spring rolls we've ever had—very fresh! The service is quick, and when I called to give a tip, the staff was incredibly appreciative. I visited this restaurant recently for lunch, craving a tuna sub. The place was very clean, but I was disappointed with the portion of tuna I received. At other Subways, the sandwich artists typically put four scoops of tuna on a foot-long sub and spread it out nicely. Fantastic food and people. Everyone is very friendly here. They really did amazing work to support the COVID-19 safety. completely re-did their entire counter unlike I seen any other business, sliding window, microphone speaker, completely sealed counter.. Their food has always been great, every entree and combo ive tried is fresh tasting and not generic at all. The portions for the price is awesome.
My rating is based upon what is a generally available in this area maybe 30 minutes in a radius. This place is very good but it's certainly not the best I've ever had. I've lived in New York and Los Angeles so my standards are a little closer to what a lot of this food should taste like. If I remove my standards and knowledge of how this food should taste then they would get 5 stars from me. Reason being frankly there is nothing else around. It is definitely a restaurant I frequent twice a month for my family. It is a nice change-of-pace reasonably priced and the food is quite good quality. Best I've ever had is a no. I got the sesame chicken with pork fried rice which was fantastic. Wait time was about 30 minutes but that was expected since it was a busy Friday night and we didn't call in. I know some reviews here were pretty negative on yelp, maybe that was just their first week? I thought it was great.

Grippo's Mobil in Durham is Gr8, a One Stop Shop 4 everyone. While U gas up car U can buy Subway grinders 4 lunch. Go across the store buy some coffee donuts 4 dessert Dunkin. Grippo's Sells All that U need in one place. Water, milk, chips cheese, eggs, even propane ! Stopping here Saves me a lot of gas.
