Secrets Pho Noodle - Durham

After consulting with the kitchen I was told that the pho could be made both vegan and gluten-free. Unfortunately all other vegan options on the use of regular (white based) soy sauce as a substitute for fish sauce. I appreciate that they have gone through the effort to find an option for me instead of just saying no to me. While this was my only option in this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was! Typically I find veggie pho to blanden, but this was very tasteful. They used many spices to update the broth from a herbal stock. The vegetables added to the soup were also fresh and crisp. They also gave me sriracha an extra kick if necessary. I'd definitely come back here.

Ordered by their online portal for board pickup and could not have been easier. The lady was so nice and you get a good amount of food for the price.

Incredibly yummy, fast casual, yet high quality and healthy Vietnamese food in Durham! We heard about Secrets through our Offline Durham membership and boy it did not disappoint! The service was friendly, and our food was ready quickly! I ordered the Japanese 7 spice tofu vermicelli bowl and the seasoning on the tofu was incredible!! I also loved how it was mixed in with fresh veggies, bean sprouts and they put the fish sauce vinaigrette on the side so you can add as much or little as you want (although I added a lot because it was flavorful but not heavy). My husband got the Go Green Pho usually it's hard to find vegetarian pho so we were super happy to find this one and the broth was so tasty. We also split a tofu banh mi which was a good shareable size although I want to go back and try the chicken version and shrimp spring rolls!

First time going here. Place was nice and clean. Cashier was friendly. I ordered pho but it was so oily and lacking flavor. But their orange chicken was crispy and great!

Went to dinner with my friend here, we got there during a dinner rush, but the line moved pretty fast. The kind lady at the register was super welcoming and friendly, it was our first time there so it felt nice to be greeted like that. she recommended the Crab wontons as appetizers and they were pretty good! The guy serving our food was also very friendly. It was our first time trying Pho, and everything was delicious. Definitely recommend !
