Updated: I believe they really take feedback to heart. The place has improved significantly over the past month! There are more employees on duty, service is quicker, the staff remains friendly, and the food is still fantastic! I visit weekly, sometimes several times a week. Give it a try! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
ordered ultimate nachos and ended with a plate of chips and a cup chili only. not with acidic sawn or jalapeños or green bevel. Instead, it came with a tiny prise shredded cheese a tiny piece of avocado and tomato dishes. the potato soup I ordered was potato water. I have it to my 2 year old who eats everything and she says: jucky. can't believe I paid for it. it's not even worth going back. bad quality, bad things really. if I knew what I got, I would have gone to the dollar store and got frozen chili and a bag of chips to dinner.
The sandwiches here are fantastic, but it's the baked carrots that truly elevate the meal.

The tables and counters were clean, but the floors could use some attention. The bathroom was spotless, although there was a strong ammonia smell. **Service: 4/5** Our to-go order was ready fairly quickly. The staff was friendly, but their enthusiasm seemed lacking, which came across in their tone while taking our order. It felt like they were just going through the motions. **Price: 4/5** Given the gourmet sandwiches, the prices were reasonable. **Quality: 4/5** The quality was above average—the flavor of the sandwiches was impressive, and the variety of bread used made for a delightful experience. I’m eager to return to try different combinations. We shared a loaded baked potato that was huge—definitely not an exaggeration, as it weighed at least 3 pounds! For $8, it was a bargain, easily enough for two meals. If this size is consistent, I’ll be back for more. In total, our order of a loaded baked potato and two Reuben sandwiches came to almost $30. This place is definitely better than Subway!

I've been to this spot in the past and remembered it being a good spot for lunch. Today's visit wasn't a great experience, though. Short wait to order and pleasant staff, but exceptionally long wait for the food (we ordered basic sandwiches). We had two parties at our table and the orders were mixed up. The steamed broccoli had brown spots and the ham was not good. I wouldn't recommend, especially given the number of other similar style restaurants in the area.
