Food was delicious, but place could use a makeover. The staff seems to be overwhelmed, but they get a lot of business so that this is good. Parking is not good, but it is still a nice place for a quiet dinner.
Really good food. It would be a 5 with better page options. But you get some food for your money. And the Jumbo Shrimps and Sapphire Clams are delicious
I went to Mayflower years ago and thought I would try again. The food is still okay and the part has much smaller... my appetite has not increased so I have not been able to eat a 3 combination plate in a session... Guests I'm out for a few years... Just not worth my money!
Walked in, stood and waited while staff stood around and NEVER spoke or come to seat us. Several employees were standing behind the desk talking with waiters and other staff members. Only one waitress/employee walked by and acknowledged us and looked concerned, but she was to busy with her tables to come seat or help us. This was on a Saturday afternoon at around 4:45 PM. Not very busy. We have been eating at this particular mayflower for years and have been noticing it going down hill over the last couple of years. Will be driving to Burlington location from now on.
The food is always amazing! I absolutely love their broiled seafood. We tried the blooming onion and it was perfect. My mom and I stop in any time we are in Durham. Service is very prompt.
