I like the food of this restaurant, but something happened this week that shocked me and questioned the quality of the restaurant!!! I rarely check my bank statement, but when I saw my bank statement today, I immediately realized that they charged more than I filled in the receipt. I had a wonderful experience at Wagyu and the sushi was also very good.
My boyfriend and I went to dinner tonight for his birthday. I enjoy sushi, but I've only ever had spicy tuna rolls and was a little intimidated by the menu. Our waitress Dyuna was AMAZING. She suggested things for me to try and everything was super delicious. The crispy rice appetizer was out of this world and we will definitely be back soon!
Although the menu at this restaurant doesn't offer a wide variety of vegan options, the ones they do have are unique and well-thought-out. Unlike many sushi places that only offer basic vegetable rolls like cucumber or avocado, M Sushi provides two options that are filled with a variety of vegetables: the Vegan Futomaki roll and the Ratatouille roll. Both rolls were incredibly tasty, and we are looking forward to returning in the future.
The vegan bento box at this restaurant is the best individual dish I have tried at any vegan-friendly place in Durham. It includes six delicious items such as seaweed salad, curry udon, Inari, a roll, smoked eggplant nigiri, and a potato croquette. The presentation and flavors are fantastic.
