Insomnia Cookies - Durham

Insomnia Cookies uses their own delivery drivers to deliver orders. When my cookies arrived tonight, they were warm and delicious but the store forgot to include my frosting. After contacting the manager, she was gracious and apologetic. The driver returned to my home with the missing frosting 20 minutes later. This has happened to me multiple times with this restaurant. I have often received incomplete orders because the frosting was missing. If the employees took the time to double-check orders before leaving the store, it would save time and prevent customer frustration. This would guarantee a 5-star rating from me instead of a 4.

The cookies were tasty but the Brookie was disappointing as it was not loaded as expected. Despite placing my order at 8:17 PM, the online arrival time showed delivery to my home at 10:10 PM, which was not accurate as it was not on my doorstep. After contacting the manager, I was informed that my order was still at the store and would be delivered in about 20 minutes, but it did not arrive until after 11 PM. This was truly ridiculous.

The cookies are amazing! They taste just like they were homemade by grandma. They were warm and simply delightful.

Stale and hard. Only one fresh cookie out of eight. And they neglected to send the promised 3 free cookies. Don’t expect to receive them as I see other folks have complained they didn’t receive their 3 free either.

When I finally walked into the restaurant, the person behind the counter rudely pushed the cookies towards me without saying a word. The cookies were hard and lacked flavor, which added to my disappointment. Overall, the customer service and quality of the food were below par. This experience did not meet my expectations for a curbside pickup service.
