Blend Cafe At Golden Belt - Durham

This restaurant is a great downtown lunch option. It's right on the BCC route, which is really convenient. We enjoyed the Blend club sandwich and Roast beef sandwich. Both were really tasty very fresh ingredients and interesting flavor combinations. The coffee was definitely high quality and presented beautifully. The frozen yogurt looked really great, but I didn't get to try it. Going in at lunchtime, it was a little too bright in the restaurant and hard to get out of the glare. I loved the local art decorating the walls. My only complaint was that the prices seemed a bit high. Maybe if the small $6 8 sandwich included fruit or a drink it would seem more fair.

The ham egg and cheese biscuits at Blend are amazing, easily the best in town, definitely on par with the best I've ever had. They also serve Counter Culture coffee which, if you didn't already know, is REALLY GOOD. The smoothies are good too! Last and definitely not least, the staff. There have been many days when the staff at blend cafe have made my day. They are all very friendly and I'm not sure I've ever had anyone there serve me without a smile on their face. Definitely worth checking out.
