A pleasant environment and the owners are very welcoming and friendly.The ice cream is particularly good!Quieter in winter but still a good place to relax with a glass of wine.

This little cafe/bar/bistro used to offer a unique and pleasant range of assiettes and a selection of wines that were reasonable quality and value.During a rece... read more This little cafe/bar/bistro used to offer a unique and pleasant range of assiettes and a selection of wines that were reasonable quality and value.During a recent return visit it seems that the previous patron, M Blancheton I think, is no longer involved and it shows.It appears to now aim at attracting only English tourists who will not return.A platter of average charcuterie and cheese at €22 was poor. I won't return on any future visits to Duras. Shame.

Located in the village square with a view to the chateau it’s a great….very friendly and well patronised by the locals…coffee in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon and a vin rouge before dinner. Highly recommended.
