What User doesn't like about The Travellers Rest Dunstable:
we were advised when we arrived that they had delivery problems and therefore had only one frying available, or steak or chicken cake. we decided to stay, the starter was not bad, my slowly cooked pork was the worst fried I had. it was served with a whole carrot cut length! the black bauch was made with a fat layer that was not even made, the meat and fat measured about 4 in’s by 3 ins and was about 3/4 inches thick.... The food was good, but we had a long wait for it to appear. The restaurant was very busy so advise going early or later than 1.00pm for lunch. The refurbishment is attractive and welcoming and the staff were very cheerful and helpfu;i.
Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend a visit. Can't believe how good it was. Can't fault them at all. Top marks all around.
We went out for a birthday dinner with family and friends and had a great time. The seating area was lovely and the staff provided excellent service. The food selection was fantastic and the desserts were amazing.
