When the server asked how we liked our food, we chose to be honest. She relayed our concerns to the chef, who responded defensively about the quality and did not offer any refunds. Oddly, she then asked for my name to pass along to the kitchen and advised me to request fresh chicken next time. That comment didn’t quite make sense to us. In the end, we left most of our leftovers behind—something we never do! It was frustrating that they couldn’t adjust the final bill. If we experience poor quality again during our next visit, we’ll be sure to return the food immediately and leave, as we don’t want to pay a high price for cuisine that is becoming inconsistent. Additionally, I mentioned to the server that our last takeout order was also very unsatisfactory. Our main request to management is to acknowledge your mistakes when quality is lacking—don’t shift the burden onto your customers!
The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very helpful, and the setting is lovely. Visit for the amazing Indian cuisine, and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. However, it's worth mentioning that they have removed the vegetarian options and the menu has been limited to just a few selections.
Our experience was quite mixed. I ordered the curry chicken, which was just okay. The rice had to be purchased separately, and there were no vegetables offered on the side. My wife chose the Caesar salad, but we were surprised to find that croutons were an extra $3. Unfortunately, the chicken in her salad was overcooked and dry, reminiscent of wood. There was hardly any dressing, and despite her asking for more, we never received it. The service was incredibly slow, and our server didn’t check on us at all. We weren’t offered any additional drinks during our visit. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be returning; it just wasn’t worth it.
We ate there on a Monday, which is Indian food only. We ordered 1 dish but received a similar dish as the one we ordered was not prepared. We waited about 1 1/2 hours for our food. They did take the Naan bread off our order seeing it took so long. Also the fork we received was so dirty.
Swing and a miss.I was worried with the place being a hotel bar restaurant and I should have avoided it on the note alone since it rung very true in the negative sense. They are clearly trying g to add some atmosphere and are on the water, but it really only goes so far.In trying g some of there beers I did find two that are good, but what killed it was the food, just not worth it in the slightest. We got apps and then decided to take out dinner to go for later. They forgot half of what we ordered and what they did send us home with were half portions at best.Needless to say there are much better places to spend your money elsewhere.
