My buddy Nathan Schiller recommended I try you guys out. I had the pulled chicken sandwich. As I took my first bite, the skies opened and the sound of angels singing filled the air. Morgan Freeman appeared out of nowhere and proceeded to narrate me eating the sandwich. I believe this sandwich could bring about world peace. In all seriousness, the food is fantastic. Ate there for the first time today. the Mac and cheese was the bomb, highly recommend.
I'm not sure what they've done to the mac and cheese, but between that, the brisket, and the ribs, I've found three standout dishes that are definitely worth a three-hour drive on the weekends for more.
Everything was absolutely delicious! I devoured a half rack of ribs, and the bones slipped right out of the meat. I also enjoyed a couple of sides, like cucumber and tomato salad, and coleslaw. I tried some of the beef brisket, and the flavors were incredible as well. The owner, Andre, provided exceptional hospitality! He even arranged for some fries for my kiddo, which had us all laughing. I can't wait to return to Dunkirk for more delicious BBQ!
