This is a perfect small restaurant serving traditional French cousin with modern touch. really nice atmosphere, service and eating is absolutely fantastic, will come back absolutely
In a cold, humid night in dunkirk, this small cozy restaurant provided an excellent meal. the waitress (owner? was welcoming and in vain our mangled french, although I suspect that her English is excellent. the bone marrow star was the star of the...show, but the bounty noir was a narrow runner. all were excellent, with a single meunière and a duo lamm, which was particularly prominent. the wine list is well balanced and includes some half bottles. we could easily understand why this is such a popular place with a regular clientele.
The young lady that owns/runs this restaurant could not of been more accomodating. I loved the fact it was her and her two chefs in a small kitchen producing great service and good food. Overall all of our meals were very good although my husband...found his a little dry, which I do agree with. The restaurant itself has a really nice authentic French feel to it, with a simple menu that was carried to each table on a board. The lady had a great personality and nothing was too much effort for her. We would highly reccomened this to anyone.
On a cold, damp night in Dunkirk this small cosy restaurant provided a perfect setting for an excellent meal. The waitress (owner)? was welcoming and forgave our mangled French, although I suspect her English is excellent. The bone marrow starter was the star of the show but the boudin noir was a close runner up. All of the mains were excellent with a sole meunière and duo of lamb standing out particularly. The wine list is well balanced and includes some half bottles. We could easily understand why this is such a popular venue with a regular clientele.
