Fantastic location with an amazing view, incredibly friendly service, and delicious homemade food. The eggs and ham special, bacon, baked beans, and meatball stew with pig feet were all fantastic, and don't forget to bring your own wine. I highly recommend this sugar shack and will definitely be returning.
I am a Thai national and it was a great discovery for me ! It was an amazing sugar shack food experience with impeccably hospitality and service at Erabliere Hilltop. Fresh and delicious homemade ! Very generous portions of food a “big feast”. The owner came to talk to us and very friendly staffs. Maple syrup is the greatest of all Canadian culinary treasures and also definitely in this typical sugar shack meal. Above of all, their maple syrup at Erabliere Hilltop has been awarded “gold medal” quality from The Great Sap 2017. So we trust in their quality of the food here I love the Pea Soup, Pork Rinds, Beans with Lard, Smoked Ham, Smoked Pork Cheeks, super awesome Meatball and Pig Shank Stew ! The desserts were irresistible !!! All about maple syrup : Pudding Cake Baked in Hot Maple Syrup, Maple Syrup Pie, Mini Pancakes, Dumpling in Maple Syrup They have an outstanding panoramic scenic view that we can enjoy from the big patio ! I definitely voted for Hilltop We will come back again. Thank you very much

The food at this sugar shack is incredible! I especially enjoyed the ham. The views are amazing and while the price of $30 per person is a bit higher than other sugar shacks, it is definitely worth it!
Well, what can I say. We were a family group of 6 people. We all loved it. The owner was so nice and took the time from his crazy schedule to ensure we were happy and give us some history about the place. The sugar shack is located on a hilltop (hence the name) with views to the north and the valley below. It’s just a beautiful spot. Then there’s the food.... All you can eat. They serve the dishes at the table and keep coming back replenishing the empty dishes and asking if we are happy and if there’s anything we need. The food was extremely good. All the products are local. The menu was perfect and there’s even dessert with 4-5 different choices. When all done, you can enjoy Tire on the snow. What a delight. The atmosphere is warm and the chalet has wood beams and windows with views to die for. We will all definitely return next year.
