We were told... read more We visited the pub for a nice lunch, but unfortunately, we left feeling very disappointed due to the rude treatment we received from the bartender. We were told that we needed a mobile phone to check in, even though we had a family member who could help us. Additionally, when I asked for assistance with a gaming machine, I was met with an unhelpful response about luck. Overall, our experience was quite negative.

The bartenders were unbelievably rude with absolutely no personality , especially so the big guy with painted nails. We spent a lot of money during our stay and try as we might to be friendly we were treated like lepers! Worst pub in Australia

Guests can retire to the upstairs verandah with its great views of Dungog and surrounding countryside. The Bank makes an excellent base for day-touring the Hunter and nearby National Parks and State Forests.
