The Newgrange came up trumps and we couldn't hav... read more After doing the Boyne Walk from Drogheda to Navan, myself and my friends were in need of food and refreshments. The Newgrange came up trumps and we couldn't have asked for better. Everyone of us was highly impressed with the service and the fayre on offer. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious. A mountain of chips appeared on the table and we did well to get through it! Thanks to Stephanie and Deirdre for looking after us so well. All in all a very pleasant dining experience and I would highly recommend the Bridge restaurant.

There are plenty of tables to choose from so you are never stuck for a seat. Staff both friendly and helpful, the food is aways fresh and they have plenty to pick from all the options. If you are nearby and looking for a warm dinner then this is a good option for you. Carvery prices are €12.50 with the daily special less than that at €11.50

I had the brie to start flavour and presentation was top class , I had ravioli for my main the best I have ever had so full of flavour and a lovely portion size. Was so full my dessert was an Irish coffee made perfectly not an easy task. The pinot wine was lovely too the service was top class very friendly staff throughout the hotel from reception to restaurant and then on to the bar. Highly recommended

Service was fabulous, lady who served us was ve... read more We stopped in for lunch having come to Slane to attend a Wedding in the Millhouse. Tasty food and decent prices. Service was fabulous, lady who served us was very kind and friendly. Slane is a lovely village, quaint and this place fits into that character they do evening dining although I never saw the menu if the lunch is anything to go by you can't go wrong. We stayed in the Castleview B&B down the road and would recommend it also.
