Tony's Takeaway - Dundee

I ordered delivery through Just Eat. While the food arrived warm, it was overly greasy, and the chips were definitely undercooked and not crispy at all. I wasn’t a fan of the fish batter either; it wasn’t the crispy, flaky kind I enjoy. They might have been quite busy, and since I ordered through the app, that could explain the greasy food and undercooked chips.

I had a meal at this chip shop tonight and ordered two dishes. I noticed that the woman at the counter picked up the fish and fritters with her hands, which I found to be quite unhygienic. Because of this, I won't be returning. Additionally, the food was greasy. I'll definitely be searching for another place to eat. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I placed an order around 4:20 PM, just 20 minutes after they opened. Unfortunately, both items I ordered were unavailable, so I couldn't get what I originally wanted. I was informed that I would receive a refund for one of the items, but I’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens. When the food finally arrived, it was barely warm, very greasy, and tasted and smelled like old cooking oil (considering I ordered only 20 minutes after they opened). I was quite disappointed and somewhat confused, as I had high expectations based on the reviews.

Great chip shop! I really enjoy eating here, and the delivery is usually quite fast. I only gave it 4 stars because I've had the occasional order that had soggy batter instead of crispy.
