I am shocked to see the negative reviews. We arrived early tonight and were seated at a table in the elegant dining room. We had a wonderful time with tasty food and wine. The service was both professional and friendly. We left the USA a year ago and have found that dining experiences can be hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit. Keep up the good work. Beautiful meal. the starters appeared fast. unfortunately the net appeared almost within seconds of the starter and departed from the experience. a huge party of people came shortly after us so that a camp would have had on the turnaround in the kitchen. accidents happen, but I had a bottle of tonic pilgrim over my lap. the waiter was destroyed to be fair, but we had to ask that the drink be withdrawn from the bill in the recompensation. worth 4/5 stars!
I love the locally produced strawberries that Mel proposed, they are as tastier as the varieties in the supermarkets. Also, I was thrilled when I found that the handicraft bread was 50p cheaper here than the same bread in other shops. If I compared shopping baskets, I'll make a good rescue here.
The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a clean environment. The wait for the food was worth it, as the starter of tempura prawns and lentil haggis bonbons was delicious. The prawns had a perfectly crispy batter and were cooked just right, earning them a five-star rating. The main courses, a veggie burger with sweet potato chili and sweetcorn and a southern spiced chicken, were also flavorful. The onion rings were crispy and some of the best I've had, although they were a bit salty. The service was quick and the staff was attentive, even providing water for our dog. The venue is beautiful and seems like a great place for groups. Overall, a great dining experience with just a few minor hiccups.
I really enjoy the locally grown strawberries that Mel recommended; they are much more flavorful than the ones in supermarkets. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the artisan bread was 50p cheaper at this restaurant compared to other stores. After comparing my shopping baskets, I realized I was able to save money by shopping here.
