Welcome to The Fort Hotel, a charming family-run establishment nestled in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Broughty Ferry, Dundee. Our hotel is the perfect haven for short breaks, business travel, golfing excursions, or memorable family holidays. With its prime location, The Fort Hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring Dundee and the stunning landscapes of North East Scotland. Indulge in our mouth-watering meals served daily. Our kitchen is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm (with last orders at 7:45 pm), and on Friday and Saturday, we extend our hours to 9:00 pm (last orders at 8:45 pm). Unwind in our bar and lounge, which welcomes you from 11:00 am until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday. For those who enjoy al fresco dining, our beer garden is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, with alcoholic beverages available from 11:00 am. We are proud to be a family-friendly establishment that welcomes children over 12 and well-behaved dogs. Please let us know when booking if you plan to bring your furry friend along. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the fort in Broughty Ferry. It is a wonderful place with a delicious breakfast and an excellent Italian restaurant. The beer selection is also fantastic. We were pleased to hear that they are preparing to open a wine bar as well. It's great to have a variety of tastes all in one location.
This wood paneled pub has a well-stocked bar that is spacious and ideal for hosting quizzes and other events throughout the week. It seems like a great venue for a fun night out."
First time being here despite living in Dundee all my life..This place is brilliant. Super friendly staff you can have a conversation with. We had a super time and will def be back .Food was awesome
The food at this restaurant is top-notch, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice and clean.
I had a salad just received it and noticed a hair in it. The waiter came and took it back to kitchen apologised abd brought anither. I had eaten some and noti ed another hair, that was me i was done so left feeling quite nauseous. On going to pay for the food we had recèived they did not take the money for salad, i never asked for that, i would rather have enjoyed my food. Once was bad enough but twice awful.
