When i heard about this place from my girl friend i just had to see it. I had no idea what up expect and when we pulled up in the parking lot my mouth dropped. I don't know much Spanish but the staff are extremely helpful. There was a nice young man that over heard my and my gf taking about those 3 hot sauces in the photos orange red and green. We didn't know what to buy and he says hey i over heard you is like this... View all feedback.
What Nikki Nikki doesn't like about Jalapeños Market Bakery:
I will give this place a higher rating because their food is really good however the service is really bad the online prices are different than the in-store prices and when you ask a question they tell you just because it’s like that the lady at the register refused to fix the price I asked for a manager they refused to get me help so I ask for the owner then I was able to be helped after wasting my entire break they... Jalapeño market has great authentic Hispanic groceries and food. There are several items I usually cannot find in typical grocery stores like Whole Foods or Safeway. There is a restaurant at the side that offers $2 tacos, birria tacos, and other assorted baked breads and goods all reasonably priced. Some store associates only speak Spanish, so if you don't speak Spanish it could be a bit difficult to navigate. However, they will find someone who does speak English, and everyone is very kind. The ambiance of the store is also great
Amazing setting/atmosphere, great food and drinks, fast service, and a great grocery selection!
I came here today for lunch. I ordered the carnitas taco, al pastor taco, and a pollo loco taco. All three were really good! The carnitas taco was a little plain but the tacos came with a side of lime, radish, and sauce so it worked out. I also got some bread. It was soft and tasted really good. The back of the store is a little dimly lit and would benefit from some better lighting but overall this is the best Hispanic grocery store I have been to.
Huge supermarket with high ceilings and a dedicated bakery with dine-in seating. There are lots of unique food, snacks, and beverages from Latin America that you wouldn't be able to find in a traditional grocery store. They also have fresh produce. The prices are fairly affordable. I would shop here again.
