This restaurant offers the best chicken Maryland and the most flavorful curry in town. The service is outstanding, though the only drawback is that they close early. We used to love coming here to relax after a night out at the pub.
The chicken breast curry, fried rice, roast chicken, and curry sauce at this restaurant are fantastic. I am looking forward to ordering them again once they begin serving at 6pm.
Youngs is the best Chinese restaurant in Dundalk. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Everything is always fresh and excellent. I highly recommend the chicken breast cure with roasted rice – it’s amazing! Youngs is truly fantastic!

The curry at Youngs is tasty, but the prices are shockingly high for the portion sizes. A “small” chicken curry with rice costs €12.50, which is steep compared to other Chinese restaurants where you get a larger serving with at least twice the amount of chicken—probably about half a breast here. It’s really disappointing, and the price definitely doesn’t match the quantity. Part of the curry sauce alone costs €3.50, whereas at other places it’s usually €2 to €2.50. Adding an extra 40 cents for a side feels excessive too. The food is enjoyable and filling, but considering the portion sizes—not just the price—I can’t help but wonder if they’ve thought through the value or if they’re just overcharging. Overall, it’s an expensive dish with small portions.
