Cluskeys - Dundalk

I made a review a few months ago on a staffing issue on a Monday night and highlighted how one girl working between a bar and restaurant is not okay. I received a email with an explanation which is fair enough, things happen. I recently visited the restaurant again, and I was always impressed with the food it’s typical Irish food. Food is definitely a 8/10 and variety a 10/10. The service and amount of staff has definitely improved, so an overall 9/10 for me. I really appreciate management stepping up to the game with staff because I think this a little hidden gem and has so much potential. I look forward to my next visit.

Like this place always seem to have a few in always a good sign when in a country setting. Steak is as good as i have ever got.

This little gem of a place is gorgeous for a quick bite to eat. this is literally your typical Irish Pub Grub, tasty. You cannot go wrong with their menu, there menu is to die for with such a wide variety to choose from. Credit to you all :

Cluskey's is an old-style bar and restaurant located in peaceful countryside, a short drive from Dundalk town, run by the owner Vinny who is also the Head Chef. Over the past number of years we've been here several times for family occasions and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, great service, with an amazingly wide range of menus including kids options, and a choice of dishes and quality of food which simply can't be faulted. The dining area is spacious with a choice of restaurant or lounge/bar for eating in, and family friendly with room for the kids to move around in without annoying other diners. At our last meal, one member of our family party, who is a long-time manager in a 4-star hotel, said the steak was one of the best he ever had and ever likely to get anywhere! And the Guinness is good too, so what more can you ask for!! There's no doubt in my mind this pub restaurant should be in the top 10 in the Dundalk/Louth area. Couldn't recommend more strongly.

A pleasant country pub and restaurant in the countryside of County Louth Southern Ireland. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. The meals were excellent served and freshly made. Good value for money
