Lubys Cafeteria - Duncanville

Luby is a great place to eat when you are looking for a home cooking meal. There are a variety of foods here. There are many desserts and drinks. Great location and great service.

We were pleasantly surprised at the improvement of this restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful from salad bar to checkout. Staff smiled and rejoiced. The toilets were nearby, and the food was good. This is an enormous improvement of the unpleasant experiences we had in the past. You must have new owners.

The restaurant was clean, the service was very good. The young lady in the checkout was very nice. I had soup and salad for lunch, but I didn't know I had to get a piece of bread. So she called it for me. The food was the same as it is always, so I guess the consistency. The baked potato salad was very delicious, and the greens in my salad were fresh and NOT spoiled.

The food was good. The servers were pleasant and the waiter was attentive. This Luby's was in strong contrast to that on Hampton. The service goes quickly to the Hampton Cafeteria. Someone has to go over there and teach them courtesy, especially the Spanish cash register.

Not too bad but could have been better. Took way too long to get through the line. By the time I got to my table some of my food was cold. My meat was at least still pretty warm and tasted good. The spinach was nasty but black-eyed peas were good. My server was very nice and did a good job. Over all I’ll give it a four star, better than a three but really not quit a four but close enough.
