A good Mexican restaurant to visit in Duncan. My burrito was quite good and I really loved that there was also free queso and salsa. The meat was a bit bland, but the chili sauce was quite good. Our server was very friendly and I felt like the portions were a good size. View all feedback.
What Sheryl Greenaway doesn't like about Don Jose Mexican:
We ordered two beers, a bowl of menudo, a taco and enchilada. Waited 55 minutes. Paid for our beers and left. This is the second time we’ve been there and will never go back. Gave it another try but again, we were very disappointed. We were told as we were paying for our beer that it takes a while for the menudo. Well almost an hour is unacceptable. Very sad! They went out of their way to help us find GF options on the menu!! Plus they are in the process of getting a second fryer. I so recommend them.
Food had no flavor. My flautas were microwaved. I don't know what else is microwaved here. Not authentic . Dam
