What Sally Gray doesn't like about Chez Roux:
Was so looking forward to our visit as part of quarterly catch-up with our ‘foodie’ friends. Champagne cocktails were warm…. Menu choice limited ….in comparison with the extremely extensive wine list . Food tasty had to be eaten quickly as not that warm. Cheese overpriced...for what was served . The bar area has a pleasant contemporary look that is carried through to the restaurant. The menu options appeared to be very limited but the chef came to the rescue and after good appetisers we were served with smoked grouse and lamb rack (respectively) ..again both excellent. Service until then had been very good but unaccountably it slowed to such an extent that we had to leave before the ordered dessert arrived. View all feedback.
