The Rocks - Dunbar

I recently stayed at The Rocks for 2 nights and absolutely loved everything about it – the location, the staff, the food, and the laid-back atmosphere of the hotel. Dunbar is perfect for walking, which is what brought us there in the first place. We will definitely be returning. The food and drinks were delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The hotel boasts a great view and excellent value for the price. I highly recommend it.

We had a reservation for 08/11/23 at this restaurant, but when we arrived, we found the doors closed with no sign of the owner. A neighbor informed us that the B&B had been closed for approximately 3 weeks and no one knew the whereabouts of the owner. Thankfully, our travel provider refunded us the price of our reservation as well as additional costs for finding a replacement B&B.

I was excited to stay at the hotel, but I was disappointed by the lack of service and communication when I tried to get a refund or change the date of my stay. I tried to contact the hotel five times, starting five days before my scheduled stay, to change the date because of a family emergency that required me to travel 500 miles at the last minute. This experience was truly disappointing and unacceptable. Room: 1

The food at this restaurant is delicious. Make sure to ask the staff to explain what vegan options are available to be safe. They offer breakfast and other meals that are all full of good flavors.

We had a last-minute lunch reservation and they were able to accommodate us. I would recommend making a reservation in advance, though. The portions were just right, the food was incredibly tasty, and the service was excellent. They boldly claimed to have the best olives in the world. I can't confirm that, but they were definitely delicious!
