We waited an hour to receive our food, and when it finally arrived, it was the main course—without our starters. They opted to serve the starters alongside the main course and claimed it would be a "feast"! It was quite a comical situation.

The green curry fried chicken was also exceptional; it was bursting with flavor. For our main courses, we had the pig cheeks, which were delightful, and the rump steak, which was truly unbelievable! It was so tender it practically melted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection. Plus, it was one of the largest steaks I've ever been served—two of us struggled to finish it! I really should have asked for a doggy bag because it would have made for fantastic sandwiches the next day. Though we didn’t have much room left for dessert, I couldn't resist trying the plum tart, which was absolutely delicious. The wine was very reasonably priced for its quality and available by the glass. I'm already looking for excuses to be in Dumfries on a Thursday or Friday again so we can come back!
