Nice friendly staff and the selection of essential foods, but their opening times could be sociable, and they could store a couple of cans for emergencies. also the black pudding sold there is really nice
A little gem or a cafe. Very wellcoming, lovely homecooked food and good value. Definately worth exploring outside Dalbeittion to Dispatch Palnackie.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even going as far as providing bowls of water for our dogs and allowing our girls to have breakfast for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious lunch outdoors, with homemade quiche and the best club sandwich we've ever had. For dessert, we couldn't resist the tea and homemade cakes, including a massive slice of chocolate cake, two rocky roads, and a delightful shortbread empire biscuit. After our satisfying meal, we went for a walk to exercise. This restaurant is a true community gem. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
After biking from Castle Douglas to Palnackie, we treated ourselves to some fantastic coffee, tasty simnel cake (since it was Easter Saturday), and a freshly baked scone. The service was delightful at this community-run cafe, and we were impressed by the diverse menu. We are already thinking about coming back for a breakfast bike ride soon.
