During coronavirus pandemic the Douglas Hotel have started serving take-away food. One word ‘fantastic ‘ food. Tonight I tried the spicy chicken flatbread. It’s absolutely delicious. Recommend 100% Well done team Douglas
Was in Langholm for a bit of shopping and wanted somewhere for a meal, my partner and I had 2 different starters and 2 Christmas dinners, all were delicious, well presented and served in reasonable time, was a busy Saturday night with pre booked tables, but the staff were happy to accommodate us Would definitely visit again????
Just had the most delicious fish and chips carry out. Crispy batter, beautiful white fish and chips were lovely too. Topped off with mushy peas and homemade Tartare sauce. Couldn’t recommend highly enough in current climate. Also do fabulous bar meals and drink when open as a Pub. ?????

We've been holidaying in Langholm for a week and dined in the Douglas a couple of the times. The locals in the bar have been very friendly and we've enjoyed some great banter. The restaurant is fantastic, the venison steak dish is without doubt the best plate of food I have ever eaten (sorry mum and wife!! I cannot recommend this highly enough.
