Was Anonym at Sideways Cafe a mag?
Met up with cousins for a breakfast catch up. I was there early and found a vacant table outside. Service was great, and didnt have to wait long for a coffee. When the others arrived we ordered and again didnt have to wait long. The food was amazing, the service brilliant and the price spot on. Even though the cafe was busy, staff were still very professional. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Sideways Cafe:
Food is excellent, though portions are a bit smaller than most other places. Coffee is hit and miss: sometimes on the money, sometimes bitter. Service is slow on occasion: staff seem to breeze past you without taking your order for sometime - even though there are adequate staff to cover the smaller number of customers. But I always go back because they offer a reasonably good experience though on the pricey side giv... View all feedback.

Very traditional Aussie style cafe that I used to visit for many years. Foods and drinks are average but the vibe here is perfect.

Very popular, high turnover, community hub cafe. Friendly and (very) fast service.

This place really surprised me. Great corner location in a suburban quiet street with a great cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating and family pet friendly. We were attended to immediately and given the choice of any table. Some really good looking items on the menu with an all day breakfast. We ordered a couple of coffees a big breakfast and a salmon salad with brown rice. I can't fault the food at all. Generous servings, cooked just right and very tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service and staff was quick and very friendly.

We are blown away by our experience at this restaurant! We have tried to dine here before, but it is always busy. Today, we were lucky to find a few available seats and decided to stop in for lunch after dropping off our kids for soccer nearby. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and quickly seated by the attentive and friendly staff. We opted for the lamb flatbread and lamb moussaka, both of which were incredibly delicious and served promptly. We couldn't resist trying the homemade desserts, and the banoffee and brownie were absolutely delightful. The coffee was also exceptional, the best we've had in a while - we even had to grab an extra one to go! We are looking forward to coming back, as our children play soccer in the area frequently. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we highly recommend.

This café is one of the best in the local area, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. The interior is cozy and welcoming, with dark polished wooden floors giving it a semi-home, semi-industrial feel. The café is popular and the food is good. I have visited for breakfast and lunch multiple times and have always had a positive experience with the professional and welcoming staff. The only downside is that the single tables are quite small, so it is better to opt for a double if you have a lot of items. The café is conveniently located near Johnson Park, making it easy to grab takeaway and have a picnic.
