I am obses... read more I am never disappointed when I eat at The General. The ambience is casual and the staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their menu. I am obsessed with the bacon burger here I've come back four times for it and it tastes just as good, if not better, each and every time! It ranks high up there with other restaurants that specialise only in burgers. The fries here are great too! A perfect place to catch up with friends over great food and coffee.

The chimichanga with red rice, peporanata and pecorino with a side of smashed avo and salsa is a taste sensation; a vegetarian dish that is packed full of flavour. The Ancient Grains Salas is also a winner and comes out as a generous bowl of pearl barley, quinoa, lentils, cherry tomatoes, coriander, dukkah and pomegranate dressing. So much yum!
