First Vietnamese experience for us and delighted with it. It was an early meal and light as we had a flight to catch and the food was delicious. Fresh and light just what we wanted. Staff were helpful and looked after us well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Minh Vietnamese Restaurant:
My wife and I brought along two friends who were visiting Sydney. We were disappointed. I have to agree with the general downward trend noticeable in recent reviews. The meal was reasonably priced and the service good but the food was ordinary. The "bonfire" had small quantities and a limited range of food - meat, vegetables, salad - and only 2 rice papers for each person.Though advertised on the menu, the sticky rice... View all feedback.
I use to visit this restaurant before children well over years ago and like a good wine it's aged well. The service staff went over and beyond with service and chatty, the banquet Menu was certainly deserving of a gold medal. The prawns...were so plump and juicy, the meat was so tender and melting in your mouth with every bite, the vegetables oh so fresh and the best was the lightly battered eggplant How they got it so light and airy is beyond me. A golden treat for vegetarians and carnivores alike for a local and BYO, it's a MUST.
We went with a group of for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. Under the new management the menu is more generic Asian than strict Vietnamese.
Had lunch with a friend and chose the rice paper rolls and lemongrass beef. Very fresh and tasty. Maybe could have done with a bit of fresh chilli on the beef dish.
We have been coming here for around years. Often for lunch when you can’t beat their Pho, often for takeaway can’t beat their fresh prawn and pork rolls and also for dinner with friends. The servings are a good size, the food fresh...and authentic. It’s not a trendy place but very comfortable. Menu is good size plenty to choose from stir fries, curries, salads (love the beef salad)A great Vietnamese local.
I had a disappointing experience at The Usual in Dulwich Hill. The restaurant seemed to have a similar problem to others in Marrickville, where the serving sizes were small and the prices were high. While Minh's dishes were sizeable and made with good quality ingredients, they lacked any flavor at all. Overall, it was the most lackluster Vietnamese food I've ever tasted.
