Description

Tucked into a busy food court, this no-frills spot is praised for authentic, affordable jajangmyeon, a wide snack selection and speedy counter service—often served with Korean pickles and a clean kitchen. Portions can be modest but the flavors draw repeat visitors and travelers seeking comforting or spicy seafood soups. Experiences vary: some guests report inconsistent service, extra charges for to-go boxes and reluctance to provide utensils or napkins. Expect quick, casual dining with good value if you don’t mind occasional rigid counter policies.

To our surprise, the cashier approached us and informed us that we were not allowed to have corn dogs there. My children requested some napkins from the staff, but they were told that we needed to make a purchase before we could receive any. This forced us to walk back to the Korean corn dog stand to ask for napkins instead. We noticed that other diners were enjoying corn dogs in the area, yet we felt uncomfortable as the staff continually glared at us. When my kids mistakenly asked for a fork, they were told that they would need to buy something in order to have one. It's frustrating to think about how much a fork or napkin costs for them to refuse service. This behavior seems to stem from a sense of jealousy regarding the popularity of other restaurants compared to their own.

Service is TERRIBLE. Since the start, asked for another pair chopstick, so stingey. Asked for a to go box, charged $1.50 each when they never did before...This is my go to for their black bean noodle... never again.DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be treated like peasants.

The jajangmyeon at the food court costs $11.99, and honestly, it lacks flavor. I wouldn't eat it even if it were priced under $5. This is a place I have no intention of returning to.

I relocated to Los Angeles a few years ago, but this is a restaurant I always make a point to visit whenever I'm in Atlanta for work. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants in LA, but none can compare to the taste of the Jajangmyeon here. It remains delicious even when enjoyed again. The kitchen is also clean, and the staff is friendly.

I think it's a soy sauce restaurant... Sweet and sour pork was a bit disappointing. The meat was dry and the sauce lacked the sour taste.
