Raku
Description
Nestled in a charming setting adorned with beautiful artwork, this cozy mom-and-pop restaurant offers an exceptional taste of authentic Japanese cuisine. Diners rave about the rich, flavorful ramen broths, tender meats, and hearty rice dishes like katsu don and gyudon, highlighting the fresh, comforting flavors in every bite. The friendly, attentive staff elevate the experience, with thoughtful touches that make every visit special. While a few minor critiques mention overcooked eggs and noodles reminiscent of packaged styles, the generous portions, warm atmosphere, and superior quality compared to chain spots make it a beloved local favorite and a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts.

After our trip to Japan, we were craving crispy Tonkatsu, and we discovered Raku Tonkatsu Ramen as one of the few options in the Atlanta area. Here's what you need to know...
This is a charming Japanese mom-and-pop restaurant. It stays open later than most places and is definitely superior to all the chain ramen spots in the area. Under the new ownership from the old Raku, the quality has really improved...
We visited this restaurant after a photoshoot because we wanted something nearby, and my friend was looking for some vegetarian ramen options. The decor is perfect for big anime fans like us!
The server was very friendly and accommodating, and she was quite efficient (she might have been the owner?). The atmosphere was pleasant, although nothing particularly special. There was some subtle anime art around, which added a nice touch. We unfortunately just missed a cosplay event where you could win free ramen for six months! There are so many more ramen options and other dishes to try. I will definitely be back soon! 7/5/2023
