Firstly, I want to highlight the impressive service from the young man at the host stand, who was both friendly and efficient. I also want to thank Ryann for her attentiveness. After we were seated, we waited around 10 minutes without anyone checking on us. Although she wasn’t our assigned server, she kindly offered to take our order so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. We could see that she was busy managing a counter full of customers as well as several booths, yet she still made sure we were taken care of. To top it all off, the Eggs Benedict was a perfect 10 out of 10, and we truly enjoyed the breakfast potatoes.
I rated the restaurant a 2 for cleanliness, but the food was equally disappointing. I ordered the turkey sausage platter with a side of cheese grits, and unfortunately, the grits were lacking butter and the egg whites were tasteless. None of the food on my plate was seasoned, and even my attempts to add seasoning didn't help. I ended up leaving most of my meal untouched, only eating the side of potatoes. My wife only finished the grits. I brought these concerns to the waitress's attention, but she didn’t take the initiative to involve the manager. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. The meal was not worth the $31 I spent.
I hadn't visited this location in many years, but while we were running errands nearby, we decided to give it another try. We enjoyed two skillets of eggs, roasted potatoes, corned beef hash, cheesy grits, and shared a pancake. Both the service and food were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and its location!
Literally the crepes are the best things ever. Our server Hannah C was the absolute sweetest. Amazing service and super kind and friendly. we will be back :
If you're looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a dine-in breakfast that you don't have to prepare yourself this is an appropriate place. It's a classic brunch experience with less of the pomp and circumstance that many brunch restaurants curate these days. But still better than an IHOP or waffle house. Great for families. The staff was nice. The food was decent and the atmosphere was cool. A little dated, but still nice.
