Where to start... The GYROS! Yes I know it is called “Coney Island” but ALL the Rave for me is in the Gyros. The old school is traditional. The best way to flash me back to my childhood days. What sea vee doesn't like about Coney Island:
the staff were really friendly and the interior was really cool and retro! the food was meh. the coney dogs were super disappointing, definitely one of the worse i’ve had. the fries were the best thing about the meal. we also got a vanilla malt but it just tasted like a watered down vanilla shake. i felt like it was overpriced for the quality. maybe it was just an off day since the reviews are typically good : View all feedback.
Was visiting Duluth for the weekend, I really wanted to give this place a try. Staff were kind and friendly, food tasted excellent, the interior was really well designed. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in Duluth
The food is amazing. Exactly what you want and expect. I was SO warmly greeted as I came thru the door. The atmosphere is like a step back in time. No frills. Old Coney Cafe style. So cool. The friendly staff took my order and within minutes I was in my car with my signature white paper bags in hand. There’s a reason they’ve been around forever. Just do it.
Stop by here get a couple dogs,,and a malt! It's that simple! It really is very good food, and the folks that work there, always very good.now if I could figure out a way to combine coney island deluxe with Sammy's pizza,,,call it a hot zaag?
I love the broccoli soup and coney burgers! Owners and staff are very friendly!
One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Duluth Minnesota
