A great local tavern atmosphere with sports, live music throughout the year, fantastic specialty sandwiches and a friendly staff. The best coleslaw in town, hands down! View all feedback.
What Peter Demshar doesn't like about The Breeze Inn:
I miss Sean and Kate. I went for dinner for the first time in a while and remembered why I quit going after the change in ownership. Cold fries and very slow to arrive sandwich that had half of the meat it used to. On the pluss side the curds were good. View all feedback.
The all-you-can-eat fish fry is delicious and offers an abundance of food.
The greatest food the sweetest staff. I will always recommend the breeze to anyone!
Today, we came together to honor my husband and his siblings' parents. Their mother's favorite spot was #TheBreezeInn in Duluth, where I first experienced a Juicy Lucy. This restaurant was a beloved destination during our visits to see Mom and Dad in Duluth. Last November, my husband and I stopped by after his mother's funeral to raise a glass in her memory. Today, we did the same, enjoying Juicy Lucys and other delicious dishes as we celebrated his father's life and military service. The team at The Breeze was warm and welcoming, and everything we had was fresh and delicious. Thank you for helping us celebrate our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, who always cherished The Breeze Inn, Chardonnay, great food, and wonderful company.
I miss Sean and Kate. I visited for dinner for the first time in a while and was reminded why I stopped coming after the change in ownership. The fries were cold, and my sandwich took a long time to arrive and contained only half the meat it used to have. On the positive side, the cheese curds were good.
As a local and monthly regular who has darkened the door of Da Breeze for years with family and friends, the overall experience has gone down hill in the past few years. Food quality is way down compare pictures of burgers in other reviews from the past and then look at the same burger today and the evidence is obvious. It’s impossible to make a good burger when you start out with low quality ingredients. Prices have also increased as the food quality has gone down, and there has been considerably more staff turnover than in the past which speaks for itself. The vibe when a Twins or a Wild game used to be on the tube is gone. Apparently the upside of having a crew hang out and sip beverages while watching a game or giving an order to go customer a reason to enjoy a bevy while waiting for their food to be up was not worth the monthly satellite TV cost. The operation could benefit from improved management and leadership before the Da Breeze brand, and what it had going for it fades into the oblivion.
