This restaurant, the only one in a 100-mile radius, presents a stark contrast in service and atmosphere. While some patrons have appreciated the efficient staff, who maintain positivity even during busy hours, others lament the disheveled environment and unsanitary conditions. Complaints about long wait times for online orders and inconsistent food quality overshadow some positive experiences. The inconsistency in service—from rude staff interactions to commendable teamwork—creates an unpredictable dining experience. Ultimately, while the potential for a good meal exists, ongoing issues with cleanliness and order fulfillment may deter repeat visits.
The kitchen, too, seemed disorganized. From where I stood, it appeared cluttered and chaotic, with containers stacked high on the prep table. The oven looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were surprisingly small. My bowl was barely half full, and the total bill for two people was $35, which felt excessive for what we received. Lastly, the food itself was quite disappointing. The steak was only lukewarm, dry, and tough, lacking any hint of guajillo, garlic, or lime flavor. The corn tasted like it had come straight from the freezer. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.
I really wish there were more Chipotle locations up north because this one has been disappointing for years. The restaurant is always messy, and while I understand it gets busy, it's unacceptable to find dirty tables and counters every time I visit. The lemonades are frequently empty, and my burrito bowls are consistently only half filled when I order them. I would prefer to dine in rather than order online, but often this location only allows online orders, which makes no sense at all. If it’s busy, it should be the opposite. My most recent order took about 40 minutes to prepare, the bowl was only half full, and the chicken was completely cold. I recommend saving your money and going to Qdoba instead. I will not be returning to this place.
I was kinda excited to go to Chipotle and try their new Guajillo Garlic Steak. I haven't been to a Chipotle in over 20 years (in The Twin Cities area) and I remembered the food and service being pretty good. But, my experience last night...ugh! First, therewas absolutely no personality or energy behind the counter. Staff didn't talk to customers or each other. No banter, justexpressionless faces. Everyone looked like they had someplace better to be. Second, the kitchen, in plain view, was a mess. Notjust a mess from a busy shift (dishes were piled high on prep table), but the stove/oven looked like it hadn't been cleaned formonths. Third, portion sizes were teeny (my bowl was about half full) and the bill for two people came to $35!! Fourth, the foodjust really wasn't all that great. The steak was barely warm, dry, and tough. Not a lot of flavor (guajillo, garlic, or lime). The corn was frozen.
This was the second consecutive time my online order was incorrect and lacking. My advice? Avoid ordering online. If you decide to go, make sure to watch them prepare your order or consider going to Q'Doba instead!
I’ll start with the online ordering process—it was a complete joke. It took me 10 minutes to figure it out, and then I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my order because they were so behind. This place is incredibly dirty; there was food all over every counter. The guy preparing the orders had piles of food sitting between the pans, more than an inch high. Then he grabbed a wet towel and tried to scrape it all into the trash can. Unfortunately, those scraps were just falling back into the pans, mixing old food with everything. They claim to be understaffed, but cleanliness should always be a top priority. I would have canceled my order if I’d known how. It was just so disgusting.
