Thursday October 27, 2022 5pm ONLINE ORDER Treated myself and mine to birthday treat at Chipotle turned out to be NO TREAT. $25.95 with an $8 dollar online discount. Plant based protein Burrito (Everything) and Steak Bowl (Everything no hot salsa). burrito was about 3/4 filled, hardly any protein and light on all other ingredients. Bowl was only half full with a pinch of steak, forgot sour cream, fajita mix added hot salsa (DID NOT WANT) and a pinch of quacamole $2.50 XTRA. Second consecutive time online order was wrong and shorted. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE, MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THEM MAKE YOUR ORDER or just go to Q'Doba. 8)
I really hate that this is the only Chipotle up north. This location been been terrible for years. The place is constantly messy. I get that it gets busy, but to always have messy tables and counters every time I come in here is unacceptable. The lemonades are almost always empty. The burrito bowls have been consistently half filled every time I order them. I would go in instead of placing an online order, but half the time it’s online order only, which makes zero sense. If it gets busy, it should be in person order only, not the other way around. My recent order took like 40 minutes to get, the bowl was half empty, and the chicken was completely cold. Save your money and go to Qdoba. I refuse to give this place my money anymore.
The staff member shouted at the customer while preparing the food. There were no baskets, so we had to eat our burritos directly from the table. If you order online, just stick to quesadillas, apparently. The fillings were limited to just onions and green peppers—no vegetables at all. To top it off, the meat didn't taste fresh. I could elaborate further, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. Definitely a restaurant I won’t be returning to.
I really wish there were more Chipotle locations up north because this one has been disappointing for years. The restaurant is always messy, and while I understand it gets busy, it's unacceptable to find dirty tables and counters every time I visit. The lemonades are frequently empty, and my burrito bowls are consistently only half filled when I order them. I would prefer to dine in rather than order online, but often this location only allows online orders, which makes no sense at all. If it’s busy, it should be the opposite. My most recent order took about 40 minutes to prepare, the bowl was only half full, and the chicken was completely cold. I recommend saving your money and going to Qdoba instead. I will not be returning to this place.
I was kinda excited to go to Chipotle and try their new Guajillo Garlic Steak. I haven't been to a Chipotle in over 20 years (in The Twin Cities area) and I remembered the food and service being pretty good. But, my experience last night...ugh! First, therewas absolutely no personality or energy behind the counter. Staff didn't talk to customers or each other. No banter, justexpressionless faces. Everyone looked like they had someplace better to be. Second, the kitchen, in plain view, was a mess. Notjust a mess from a busy shift (dishes were piled high on prep table), but the stove/oven looked like it hadn't been cleaned formonths. Third, portion sizes were teeny (my bowl was about half full) and the bill for two people came to $35!! Fourth, the foodjust really wasn't all that great. The steak was barely warm, dry, and tough. Not a lot of flavor (guajillo, garlic, or lime). The corn was frozen.
