Reviews - Cafe Rothem
Reviews summary
Nestled near downtown Duluth, Cafe Rothem blends a cozy coffeehouse, bookstore and vinyl lounge into a cultural neighborhood hub. Friendly owners serve locally sourced, fair-trade coffee (standout nitro cold brew), pastries, smoothies and light dishes beside walls of Korean and English books and thousands of records. Spacious seating, soft jazz and regular live music and charity concerts make it ideal for studying, socializing or intimate events—though event promotion is often posted only in Korean.

Cafe Rothem is fantastic! They serve delicious coffee and smoothies, along with tasty food. It's an ideal spot for chatting with friends. The owners are incredibly kind and always greet you with a smile!
One of the finest cafes in Georgia! The atmosphere is fantastic, and they host excellent events consistently.
This is a lovely and cozy spot that offers coffee and music. It's a unique café that continually embraces culture and art. You can select from thousands of vinyl records and request the DJ to play your choice.

This place is a bibliophile/musicophile's dream. They have walls of books in both Korean and English, as well as a wall of vinyl records. I can't comment on the vinyls since I didn't check them out, but they have a very eclectic book selection. I've only tried their fruit waffle and nitro cold brew so far, but both were very good. I'm especially a fan of the nitro cold brew because it tastes as ACTUAL cold brew should, and I think they source their beans from a supplier that supports fair trade and other admirable causes, which is always a plus in my book. It's a great place to study, or to hang out with friends after lunch or dinner. I will definitely be frequenting this cafe for my study dates, and I want to be a regular even after I'm done with school so that I can read through their book selection with a good cup of coffee in hand
Great place. Also check out Explore Gwinnett for other cool places and things to do in Gwinnett.
I was absolutely delighted to find this charming little coffee shop and bookstore, just about a mile from downtown Duluth! I brought my daughter-in-law here for her birthday, having picked it based on a quick Google search. Even though we had already eaten dinner, we couldn't resist treating ourselves to an Americano and a cappuccino. The coffee is locally sourced and simply delightful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which truly enhanced our experience. The ambiance was lovely, with soft jazz music playing in the background (we happened to sit near a speaker, but it was at just the right volume), and the walls were lined with books, many of them in Korean. The spacious tables and seating make it a cozy spot to unwind. I can already tell this will become one of our favorite places! Thank you, Cafe Rothem, for being such a wonderful addition to the area!
Tried it out today and it is a great spot for wasting away an afternoon reading. Nice music, quiet but not too quiet. Friendly staff and great snacks.
