Contribute FeedbackSugo has a separate vegetarian menu. You probably need to request it or otherwise you will look at the menu that contains meat. The people I have eaten here are neither vegetarians nor vegans, but ordered something from the vegetarian menu anyway, because Sugo likes to put pigs in practically everything. Without saying that I was vegan, I asked the server that was quite knowledgeable, what articles 't have egg or milk and she pointed me towards the Zucchini Pasta, which is totally vegan, her exact words. It's actually pasta from a zucchini. The only pasta that contains no egg is the angel hair pasta, so I add some of it to the zucchini pasta for a little extra care. It's not quite Korn Pasta so not too excited and it was 't something I'm a special trip for. Needless to say, ovo-lacto vegetarians have a much easier time than vegans in Sugo, as just about everything has milk or egg, but they will like to accommodate vegans by leaving cheese, but not as far as the use of milk-free cheese. I also had the spinach salad without cheese. That I liked more than the duck. The service is good here and if you 're in or near John's Creek, its upscale option if you had to eat with non-vegans or vegetarians, but it would be a goal for vegans. I have a personal policy not to eat in restaurants that serve foie grass. While Sugo does not serve Foie Gras, the company that Sugo has a few other restaurants in Atlanta, one of them (Cooks Soldiers) serves Foie Gras. I didn't know I ate this at Sugo, or I probably wouldn't have agreed to go there. Everyone can make his own decision. I only imagine with the hopes that when the company reads this review they will offer Foie Gras at Cook's Soldiers, as this is the cruelty of most peoples. I believe my statements on the date that I post, but as with all the others in life, the situation with Sugo is changed without announcement.
I had dinner here tonight with some friends, and it was a great experience.
The four of us ordered cocktails, wine, their famous meatball, pasta, steak, halibut with pumpkin ravioli and dessert.
This was my second visit to Sugo! The review starts with a Facebook advertisement for "Halloween Specials" so I called in last week to make a reservation
