Description

A chef-driven spot delivers inventive, flavor-forward tasting menus and striking presentation—Asian-inspired surprises, standout scallops, and playful salads showcase a highly creative kitchen with notable pedigree. Many guests rave about the chef’s-table and prix-fixe experiences. Service ranges from warmly attentive to uneven: excellent servers and close kitchen interaction contrast with slow cocktails, occasional undercooked entrées, and cramped seating. Parking can be difficult. Recommended for food-focused celebrations and adventurous diners who want bold, beautifully plated cuisine, though consider à la carte if you prefer a more predictable, paced meal.

Amazing chef's table experience. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Cocktail did not meet my expectations but my wife had great cocktail from here during her previous visit here. I think the bartender was not working the night we were there. Parking ispretty crazy. I might ride my bicycle next time coming here. Definitely a good restaurant worth coming back.

I had the pleasure of dining here last night with a friend with Courtney as my server. This restaurants menu items are extremely creative and original. The chef has a no waste initiative, which is amazing! We started with the BGE Smoked Carrots, which hadpumpernickel, beet root, and raisin. This dish came highly recommended by Courtney and I absolutely loved it! I probablywould 've have tried it, otherwise. Our main dishes included Butternut Squash 'Bolognese ' and Sea Scallops. The butternut squashwas made with a potato gnocchi and broccoli. Delicious! The sea scallops were amazing and so was the sunchoke and cauliflowerpurée. We ended with dessert, the sorbet and another dessert. Delicious as well! Cute and cozy location! I 'll definitely beback.

I had my second meal at the Alden yesterday and had to point out this gem of a place! From the crafted cocktails, food and desert selections there is just perfection in both flavor and structure. There is nothing expected about the food. Every bite isa unique experience. I highly recommend adding this to any foodie list. By the way… service matches the fabulous food.

Absolutely amazing experience! We were celebrating our anniversary at the Alden. The service was excellent and the food was super delicious and full of surprises. Most dishes in our tasting menu were Asian inspired and we really enjoyed it. Somecombinations of the ingredients were very unique and innovative, and the flavor was complex and rich. I believe the chef mustspend a lot of time and effort designing the menu. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely come back to try more things.

The Alden is my favorite restaurant in metro Atlanta. Chef Jared Hucks is a master of his craft and creates wonderful dishes that showcase his global culinary background. I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a great meal in ATL. ChefJared has trained at several 3 Michelin Star restaurants globally and brought all of his learnings back to his hometown, andopened up the Alden to bring world class dining to Atlanta. You can eat á la carte in the patio or main dining area, or have aseat at the chef’s counter for the tasting menu. I recommend trying both experiences. The tasting is my favorite in town, andChef Jared does an amazing job of explaining each dish to you. You have a front row seat and get to see all the action— fromyour meat getting grilled to Jared finishing and plating the dish right in front of you. It truly feels like a Michelin-levelchef is cooking you a meal in his home. The menu changes seasonally, and every month is a new experience. My favorites are hislamb dishes as well as his seafood items. Chef Jared is a seafood master and uses incredibly fresh fish in his cuisine. Allother ingredients are very high quality as well and Chef can explain the origin of everything you’re eating. Not to mention—the pastry chef knocks it out of the park with creative desserts. Overall, the food is creative and globally inspired, cookedwith Michelin-level technique, presented beautifully, but without the pretentiousness that other restaurants of this caddercarry. It’s friendly fine dining. The staff is friendly and the somm is highly knowledgeable as well, picking out perfectpairings from the wine selection he curates. Cocktails are great as well. I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff. Ihighly recommend this place for date night, family dinner, a good meal with friends, really any occasion! It’s worth the driveto Chamblee and leaves me incredibly satisfied every time.
