A hidden gem in Amsterdam. Take the train to Duivendrecht. If you can't find the stairs to the Northeast side of the station, just ask someone. Walk a block north and the restaurant is on the right side of the street. We were seated outside. Our waitress didn't want to bring us tap water, but after insisting, we got some small glasses of water. They don't have English menus, so we were using Google Translate, and a gentleman at the table next to us told us all about the menu. I had the tenderloin, which was wonderful. Tender, juicy, and cooked to a beautiful medium rare. Mushrooms on top were not extra, and were delicious. It came with mixed veggies and French fries, which were both wonderful. One of the best side dishes anywhere was the stewed pears. Oh, I could had had those for dessert. One person in our party had the liver, which she loved. Two others had the Knuckle (not on the menu). It was divine! When I come back, I'll definitely have that next time we are in town. This is a place the locals come, so you know it is good.

One of my favorite restaurant when I am in Holland. Pure Dutch and really dorps ! Good food! I Love it! I only missed the Chicken Salad on the menu last time.
