Gold Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine

I have to say that I have never been to Thailand! However I set my standards with the Baan Thai in Belgium and have had a lot of various Thai meals in Europe.The staff were very friendly, and took care of me as it was a hot day and I was sweating and they kept bringing damp cloths which were nicely cooled.Food: I had a starter platter and a soup. The platter was ok, I have had better and the soup was good. Unfortunately the main dish tasted like a typical Euro Chinese sweet and sour fish.I would be hard pressed to recommend this place, as eager and friendly as the people were.

You feel back to Thailand. Service very nice, food super delicious and perfect coctails. It was very busy, although something slowed down the delivery, but a good sign. I would recommend to everyone the number 514. Thanks for a perfect day :-)

I just back from a business trip though Asia and was missing Thai food so I looked into the Internet as the website was nicest I visit this restaurant with my friend. The food is the best I ever eaten outside of Asia. This may is the best Thai restaurant in Europe. The staff is very nice and take always care. This perfect decorated place send you back to Thailand for a short time. If you in Duisburg you should not miss this experience. BTW I had the Thai Barch. Amazing!

Just had the best meal out side of Asia. The food was outstanding, will be back for the fried fish. This is a great place to eat.

Great little restaurant on the outskirts of town. Went via tripadvisor review and wasn't disappointed. Recommend the tom yum goong soup
