Small but nice restaurant. The service is very friendly. The quality of the food is also great. Reservation is mandatory recommended otherwise you probably go empty.
My wife and I had an early dinner at the Blockhus a few weeks ago while we were on vacation. The service was great with the waiter being very engaging and teaching us some history of the place. The food was good......my wife really enjoyed hers as she said it was delicious and mine was a solid good. The place is pricey BUT within the norm for Zurich. So a dinner for two without a bottle of wine or more than two drinks was over 175 dollars (after adjusting from Swiss Franc to USD). Again, the norm for one of the most expensive cities in Europe.

Ate here twice during recent stay in Zurich. Delicious food and freshly prepared - pasta was superb. Local beers served were lovely and attentive service. Really enjoyable eating outside on the cobbled streets. Would recommend.
Had our office christmas dinner there!!! Great atmosphere, better wine and delicious meat! Rustical ambiance & decor. Looks almost run-down from the outside, those who know still go inside to be welcomed by friendly staff to have a great time with some very delicious steaks!
Saw this on trip advisor and decide to give it a go. A street behind the main traffic thoroughfare so quiet outdoor eating. We had calf liver and a local mushroom lamb meal. Both had very nice taste and fresh (colorful) broccoli and carrots. Nice option!
Excellent!! I liked it. Walked by here and just wanted to have some drinks but decided to stay for dinner. The waiter allowed us to sit 45 minutes before they open. Had a glass of Pinot. Ordered snails and they were excellent. Ordered their tartare, their specialty. This was my first time ever having raw beef. I ordered medium spicy beef tartare. They were excellent. This is my first time in Switzerland and wanted to try new things. I'm very glad I did.
