The service at this restaurant is excellent, as is the quality of the coffee. We enjoyed a lovely cream tea with homemade scones outside the charming location, complete with lashings of cream and jam. Everything was presented beautifully, served in high-quality China teapots and matching cups and saucers. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the soup was delicious. We even considered participating in some works... View all feedback.
What AlwaysStayHumble doesn't like about The Tea Room At The Old Bakery:
From the outside it just looks like an ordinary tea room, once you venture further, there is a large courtyard at the rear of the property and a huge workshop/craft area where you can buy gifts. I have visited this place a number of times with my little boy. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The cakes are amazing and so are The sandwiches. They also sell handmade gifts and plants too. Just bought a hanging basket from here. It is better than any one I have ever had from a garden centre!!! My favourite Place!!
Me and my mom come here nearly every week! The staff are lovely. We really enjoy the food and cakes! Really good prices. I recommend to everyone in the Wollaston/Stourbridge area!!
I have eaten at this tea room a number of times and each time I think how pleasant it is. Food is good and portions fair and the staff are always friendly and keen to please. It is nice that the tea room also supports the charity DiscoverU and this adds to its appeal. The interior is quaint and a little old fashioned, but in a good way, and is worth a visit
I have enjoyed this quaint little tearoom often. The service is always with a friendly smile, eager to please. The food is good honest tearoom fare. Cakes home made. In the summer we have enjoyed tea in the sun trap back garden. They also do some yummy freshly baked loaves and baps.
Lovely little tearoom where nothing is too much trouble. And the best thing is- you are supporting a charity!
